Used in the assessment of triglycerides
Increases in Values:
Increased values may help support the diagnosis of hypothyroidism and/or hyperadrenocorticism. Hypocholesteremia is commonly found in association with hyperlipidemia
Decreases in Values:
Decreased values may help support the diagnosis of hypoadrenocorticism
